Keyboard Solos to be Included in Rock Band 3
I was only out at E3 for two days, and while I did try to spend a majority of my time at the MTV Games, booth I did check out much of what everyone else had to offer. While I had a chance to ask Harmonix the questions you guys sent me, there was so much more that I wanted to find out.
I just saw this video (via @toymachinesh) taken from E3 that confirms that keyboard solos will be in Rock Band 3. Didn’t expect them to be excluded for any reason, but cool to see visual evidence to confirm.

That and proper vocal solos and vocal BRE’s. Wii crowd sing-along support as well.

I just wish the solo background was blue.. but the % is good enough i suppose lol.

They might just take it out for pro mode, since the lanes are color-coded.

I take that back, it’s the same in regular mode. Instead every instrument has the equivalent of bass groove?

It does seem like it, yeah. Every video I’ve seen seems to show each lane as being blue :/

Hope the singer won’t be constantly tied to the mic stand.
Not liking that Bass Grove thing they have going now on all instruments and I don’t think I’m the only one. Black was pefect, in fact it just needed to be less transparent. The multiplier indicator was fine the way it was. Why change these things for the sake of changing them? Now things are harder to see. Not good for replay if you ask me.
