Dubstep finally available on RB. It had to happen eventually. I’m not a big fan of the genre, but I’ll pick it up as I always like to add more variety to my library, and also The Hamster Alliance is a big part of ezmuze which is a phenomenal xblig loop-based music program. I’m also interested to see how it will play on Blitz as playing any of the more electro songs in the RB library just feels a little more “right” in Blitz for some reason imo. More All Shall Perish is always good too.
Under a Raging Moon, as in a cover (kind of a cover at least) of the Roger Daltry song? I know Parr co-wrote it, but I’ve never heard his version of it. Hopefully we will see some more, better known, John Parr songs like St. Elmo’s Fire and Naughty, Naughty.

St. Elmo’s Fire is definitely coming, hopefully later this month, as is its spin-off Tim Tebow’s Fire. Plus some other Parr that I can’t remember – check Ozone Entertainment’s Youtube channel for them all.

We’ve got 4 John Parr songs in the pipeline: “Naughty Naughty”, “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)”, “Tim Tebow’s Fire”, and “Monday Night Football”. So yes, both songs you want are coming.

Outstanding! I’ll definitely be picking up Naughty and St. Elmo. Thanks!
I just saw on RBN forum that a 50′s era master of Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Great Balls of Fire” is coming to RBN.
How is this possible? And if so, how can we support this so that people who don’t regularly buy RBN stuff buy it?

I would fully support more 50′s rock. But just not fond of covers by other artists, regardless of how esteemed those artists may be. If I were to buy old jukebox classics, I want the real deal. (or at least if original masters are not available, another recording by the original artist [Live or otherwise].

I think in most cases, there are no 50′s era masters (at least, not multiply stemmed ones)…which is why the use of the JLL master of “Great Balls of Fire” is puzzling to me. There must have been some extra work here to parse out multiple instrument stems out of original stems (like they did with the early Beatles stuff), or this is a later re-record.
But if they figured out an acceptable way to do this, and it results in some old-time Carl Perkins, or Gene Vincent, or whatever (I’m assuming Johnny Cash and Elvis are precluded from this due to separate licensing arrangements)…it would be awesome, and I would buy every piece of it.
Can somebody get Little Richard’s reps on the horn?
I’m sad that “Gemini” got pulled; I saw it on elison’s YouTube channel and got all excited. Hopefully that gets figured out.
