Short week this week with only three tracks from Ministry coming out as DLC today. Check out playthrough videos of them below, courtesy of dogmatic2120! Surprise DLC announcement… incoming!

Seen first from @thebeststeph, and just a moment ago from the official @RockBand account, there will be a three pack from industrial rockers Ministry. The songs included in the three pack are:

• Jesus Built My Hotrod
• Stigmata
• Thieves

Now, the only real question (that I don’t have the answer to) that remains is will we see MORE songs released next week, as well? The two previous weeks saw 8 and 9 songs released, so I’m optimistic that we will.

UPDATE: Nope, that’s it for next week.

There were rumblings back in April about Ministry being licensed for Rock Band, but according to a commercial on MTV:U and RockBand.com forum poster “dustinisrated_r,” it looks like it may be sooner than we think. Apparently, the Rock Band DLC commercial advertising the Miley Cyrus DLC showed off a few songs from Ministry that have yet to make it into the Rock Band library. Songs include:

• Cuz U R Next (Yes, I now realize this is already in Rock Band… sorry)
• Jesus Built My Hotrod
• Stigmata

Only time will tell when these land in Rock Band as DLC, but based on this, I’m expecting them relatively soon.

Following closely in the footsteps of last week’s revelation that Stone Temple Pilots will have music in the next major standalone Rock Band title, comes another rumored artist courtesy of the Royalty Network.  According to a post on their site:

Video game ‘Rock Band Platform’ requested use of “Jesus Built My HotRod”… ‘Rock Band Platform’ game currently in production will feature “Jesus Built My HotRod”

As usual, this is still a rumor for right now.  Also note that this may mean they could be coming to the Rock Band Network or DLC instead of Rock Band 3, but as this is one of their big hits (and one of my personal favorites), I imagine this will end up on the Rock Band 3 disc.

Harmonix’s bi-weekly Rock Band podcast was released today, and with it came an announcement of several major artists coming to the Rock Band Network.  They’re listed below, but this should more fuel on the fire that if you are not satisfied with the DLC tracks each week, try to get in touch with your favorite band and tell them to start putting their tracks on the RBN!  OK, here’s the artists that we can start looking forward to!

• All That Remains – Three tracks from them, including the first song they recorded an acoustic version of (I’m assuming it’s “Forever In Your Hands”)
• Evanescence
• The Stills
• Ministry – Tracks off of the first half of “The Last Sucker” album
• The Shins
• Flight of the Conchords

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting pretty damn excited for the Rock Band Network!
