Rock Band Coming to the iPhone… Today?!

Looks like a bunch of the major technology and gaming blogs are finally picking up on the fact that there is an official iPhone Rock Band app on its way… something I reported on about a month ago. But it looks like now we may have a time frame in when to expect and announcement on said app… today!
According to a tip given to IGN, it looks like we should be hearing an official announcement this morning about when to see an official Rock Band app coming to the iPhone. Looks like EA Mobile’s Twitter account is also teasing this as well. As soon as the announcement is made, I’ll be putting the details up here! (And you can bet that as soon as the app comes out, it’ll be on my phone!)
Looks like the folks over at MobileCrunch.com were able to snag a picture during a very brief tech demo:

OFFICIAL Rock Band iPhone App Coming?!

Not sure how I missed this a few days ago…
According to Rock Band’s new Bar Night’s FAQ page, there was a nice little mention to a popular, music playing, touchscreen phone…
You’ll be able to find official Rock Band Bar Nights near you through our location finder coming soon to RockBand.com. If you are on the go, you’ll also be able to download our free iPhone app, where you can search for Rock Band Bar Nights by zip code or GPS. Stay tuned for more info on these upcoming features!
OK, I know I’m a gushing fanboy when it comes to all things Rock Band, but with the Beatles a few days away, the Rock Band Network going live before the end of the year, and a handy-dandy iPhone app telling me where the closest officially-sanctioned Rock Band Bar Night is to my current location, I’m a happy lil guy!
Pepsi Rock Band App for the iPhone

Not sure how I didn’t hear about this earlier, that is, unless it just came out, and looking at the amount of reviews (zero), I’m assuming that’s probably the case. Anyway, looks like Pepsi just came out with an iPhone app for the Pepsi Rock Band promotion. The free app allows you to choose a Rock Band character and put your face on it via a picture from your phone, and then share it via Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr. It also lets you enter codes from specially marked Pepsi bottles using your mobile number (which in my opinion is just easier to text your code in). It also has a feature where you can buy the DLC songs or videos that are currently available to win via the promotion. If you got yourself an iPhone, since it’s free, go check it out on the App Store. Additional pictures below!
