Getting to Know Your Friends at Harmonix: HMXThrasher
One of the first people at Harmonix I ever met was Alli, known to us all more commonly as HMXThrasher. There was a Beatles convention, The Fest for Beatles Fans, being held at a hotel in Chicago by O’Hare airport, just a few miles from where I used to live. About a month prior to release, I heard that Alli, John, Sean, and Drew from Harmonix would be there, so I obviously decided to check it out. She’s super cool and a complete badass (in a good way), but don’t cross her or she’ll beat you down (don’t believe me… check out her Thrasher performance at PAX East)!
But enough out of me… check out my conversation with HMXThrasher below!
Thanks, Alli!
I have a feeling that if there’s one thing that she wants to convey most here, it’s that all Rock Band DLC requests go here! http://rockband.com/request
Getting to Know Your Friends at Harmonix: Chris Foster
Before I went out to PAX East, I was excited about finally getting to meet a number of people at Harmonix. I wanted to pick their brains about a few things, but more importantly, I wanted to get to know them better, because most of what we see of many people at Harmonix is through announcements or forum posts. Starting this week, and going for the next couple of months, I’ll be featuring some of the interviews I had with people at Harmonix.
For the first segment here, I talk with Chris Foster, who was the Lead Designer on the Beatles: Rock Band and Project Lead for Green Day: Rock Band.
FYI, if there’s ever anything that you would like me to ask people at Harmonix (specific or general questions), let me know in the comments section of these posts. I’m planning on checking out Rock Band 3 at E3, so I’ll try and do similar segments while I’m there.
