Rock Band OFFICIALLY Coming to iPhone/iPod Touch

EA Mobile made the announcement official this morning via their Facebook page that Rock Band for the iPhone/iPod Touch will be coming out this month (no firm date included in the release). Below is what you can look forward to! Screen shots and video below!
- Rock out on guitar, bass, drums or vocals to MP3-quality songs on easy, medium or difficult. Play solo, or start a band with friends from around the world. Jump into Quickplay for casual sessions or take it on the road in Tour Mode. Start out playing in grungy dives and work all the way up to stadium-rock stardom. Collect rewards and achievements that provide replay value and depth to even the most experienced Rock Band veterans. Play along with 20 legendary songs (see full list below).

Features I’m HOPING to see in Rock Band app
Not sure if I’m going to even get my list done before the official announcement is made (if rumors are made to be true, that is), but I thought I would pull together a quick wish list of what I would love to see.
- Premium content (confirmed already here)
- 4-player multiplayer through Bluetooth (confirmed already here)
- Ability to pull Rock Band scores from the official online leaderboards
- Locate Rock Band Bar Night events near you based on location
- Purchase and queue Rock Band DLC for your console
- Ability to read and post on the RockBand.com forums
- Ability to push DLC announcements to your phone (hey, it’s a wish list!)
Feel free to add any additional features you’d like to see below!
Pepsi Rock Band App for the iPhone

Not sure how I didn’t hear about this earlier, that is, unless it just came out, and looking at the amount of reviews (zero), I’m assuming that’s probably the case. Anyway, looks like Pepsi just came out with an iPhone app for the Pepsi Rock Band promotion. The free app allows you to choose a Rock Band character and put your face on it via a picture from your phone, and then share it via Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr. It also lets you enter codes from specially marked Pepsi bottles using your mobile number (which in my opinion is just easier to text your code in). It also has a feature where you can buy the DLC songs or videos that are currently available to win via the promotion. If you got yourself an iPhone, since it’s free, go check it out on the App Store. Additional pictures below!
