Well, the tracks are all there, even if there isn’t actually anyone playing them (except for the Deftones track). Since you can see the notes for every instrument, what does it matter if there’s actually anyone playing that instrument?

Agreed. I don’t need to hear someone else missing notes…I can do that all on my own.
I prefer this method and seeing the full chart to determine what will be fun for me, those I play the game with and purchase accordingly.

Remember now if you want 7 player charts you can’t do them online.
If anybody is on the fence about purchasing the upgraded legacy tracks, in my opinion it’s well worth it. Keys are awesome, obviously, but the existing charts have also been upgraded to match modern charting standards, including HOPO chords and the trill/roll mechanic. The audio mixes are also much better IMO. The old versions have the harmonies mixed down so the lead line is pushed on top because that’s what was being charted, and of course the keyboard part was pushed to the back as well. Now that all the harmonies and keys are being charted, the mix sounds amazing. I think Wanted Dead Or Alive is actually a little longer cut than the RB1 version, and You Give Love A Bad Name in particular feels like a whole new song to me. It may suck buying the same song again, but the upgraded versions are awesome. They really did make it worthwhile IMO.

I would consider re-buying for some bands, not for others. Bon Jovi is fun for us, but not enough to rebuy. Now, if they give us Pixies, with Harmonies and pro charts…..
The Gamestop songs were not available on the Wii last night when I went to Download them. But I did get my Bon Jovi on. I actually dig the new sound to the older already released songs. I am though kinda dissappointed in “Who Says You Cant Go Home”… the vocals are really soft and really cant hear them (kinda like Fat Bottom Girls on Guitar Hero)
Aww man, what’s with the non-iPhone friendly youtube vids? Can anyone confirm if the RB3 version of Livin’ on a Prayer actually has a normal ending, or if it has the same weird ending the RB2 version did?

seems like the same abrupt ending as the RB2 version.
All the Bon Jovi songs are pretty great on vocals, but the absolute standouts imo are I’ll Be There For You, Blaze of Glory and Runaway (just for the ending alone!)
Makes me miss rbdlc.com. If that was still active, I’d be given those a nice fat five-star rating.

Oh yeah, look at that. Still needs a major overhaul, with potential ratings for keys and pro guitar/bass.
Have Harmonix addressed the broken easy/medium keyboards yet?
Just a quicky… for 1600 points, am I right in assuming you get all tracks and no pro guitar? Do you still have to pay extra for pro guitar tracks or are they included in the 1600 price?
Obviously if you buy them seperate I can see you have to pay another $0.99, but the track pack, I think I am being Naive in hoping for 1600 you get the lot.
Why these don’t have Proguitar Tracking i dont understand. I thought they had said all DLC prior to release would have Pro-guitar.
