I’ll have to give these a listen. I’ve heard good things about the BKs.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Black Keys, and this DLC excites me to no end, I am slightly bummed out that it’s only 3 and the choices are kinda meh. Great tracks but they have so many better ones. Specfically would’ve loved to see Psychotic Girl and almost anything off Brothers but that said a lot of those songs have keyboard so maybe I should shut my face.

Nice to finally get some Black Keys though definitely. It’s about damn time!

Seriously, if Vines and Miley Cyrus got 5 packs, why couldn’t Black Keys. Still though I’m happy for Strange Times because of GTA4 nostalgia and I Got Mine is a personal favorite.

    Britten Reply:

Hey don’t hate on The Vines.

Big ups to finally the Black Keys. Pandora has been rockin’ them for a while now. This is an early morning purchase!

    YES! Excited indeed.

    Do want!

Will any of these have bass tracks? Your Touch definitely sounds like a no, but can anyone pick anything out on the others?

    decyphersmc Reply:

You can definitely hear a bass line on strange times (there is a little pause after the first chorus thats just guitar and then you can hear the bass line kick in with the drums). Sounds like there is one on I got mine as well, very simple with the bass drum.

But yeah Your Touch looks like it could get the “NO BASS PART” like how those vocal-less tracks are labeled, though I don’t recall any songs getting that yet.

    dlauthor Reply:

There was a White Stripes song that had no bass. Was it Dead Leaves? Maybe. I can’t remember offhand. Plus there’s the vocal-only song off 21st Century Breakdown in GDRB.

    RockerJon24 Reply:

Actually, Fell In Love With A Girl by The White Stripes has no bass part. Technically the other White Stripes songs also have no bass part, but they charted rhythm guitar.

    Ugh, super overrated band.

    Your face is overrated.

    Your Touch- Will Be Repetitive
I Got Mine- Still seems like it’s repetitive in spots…
    Strange Times- Just sounds awful.

Don’t see them as that great….

…I didn’t even need to know this was a Skdyog comment; just saw someone complaining and assumed it was him.

    skydog Reply:

And obviously you care about your visitors very much so….

    RockBandAide Reply:

I do, actually. If you think I’m being unreasonable, then I apologize, but it’s no mystery that you complain more than ANYONE else in the comments on this site. That’s fine if you have opinions, but complaining about EVERYTHING makes you look like a sourpuss.

And this is why you don’t get free shirts.

    MCA Reply:

    Touché

    Maybe I like to? :)

This is one of the two reasons why I love this site so much – It posts reliable DLC/RBN news before Wikipedia or Rock Band’s own website gets to.

  • skydog says:

opps hit submit too fast LMAO.
Maybe I Like to? To bug people.. :]
    LOL

I really am not this way in person ;] It just bugs the heck out of people online and I laugh upon those who take it seriously.

    skydog Reply:

Oh geesh here I go again.. hitting reply and than accidentally hitting off it >.> that’s my day for you…

    Xzyliac Reply:

    Sooo….you’re a troll? M’kay.

    skydog Reply:

That would make you one too :)

    Xzyliac Reply:

I guess I shouldn’t even ask you to explain to me how that makes sense, eh?

Ah well. Now that I know nothing you say should be taken seriously or is even actually your opinion I can just continue not really caring.

Someday we will have an entire honest conversation (when you’re not trollin’ of course) and it will be magical. Then the planets will align and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie Mercury, and John Bonham will rise from their graves and play a concert with Les Claypool on bass.

Not like it would impress you, right? :P

    skydog Reply:

    Omg, actually that’d be awesome.
Freddie is my all time favorite singer :)
    John is my favorite drummer
And Stevie Ray is magical himself.

    Xzyliac Reply:

See? You’re not impossible to please. Just impossible. :P

    I kid, I kid.

  • Vaughn says:

I’m getting Strange Times due to the fact it was on GTA IV.

Every week of Dlc is just another week without White lies’ “To lose my life” album as Dlc to me :(
