More Rock Band 3 Details on Saturday
As many of you may already know, the San Diego Comic-Con is going on right now, and Harmonix and MTV Games are there showing off their wares. They have a booth set up with playable demos of both Rock Band 3 and Dance Central (I believe). What many people may not know is that MTV Games has a panel on Saturday at 3:30 PM Eastern. What will be discussed? As much as I want to say @HMXHenry will be moderating a debate on the usage of ret-conning in comics, Jeff from MTV Games let me know that there will be more songs announced for both games!!!

ALSO… if you want to make your own guesses as to what may be appearing prior to the panel, stay tuned to Rock Band’s Twitter and Facebook pages, and they should be sending out hints today and tomorrow running up to the panel. And stay tuned to the site here today, as I should be posting pics from the MTV Games booth at Comic-Con.

Agreed. I would be majorly surprised to see anything else.
I’m kinda interested in what songs are announced for Dance Central, if only because it may give an indication of what songs may come to RB in the future.
Maybe some word on those 5 songs briefly shown in that promo vid. Like “25 or 6 to 4″.
If nothing else, I really hope they confirm the 5 rumored songs to be true. I’m really excited about 3 of those 5 songs (especially Chicago), and it would really change what is a B setlist now to an A setlist.
Although I obviously hope for more than that too.

Based on their hints, I think one band they’ll announce is Tears for Fears.

Could be “Shout” too. Both are great songs!
Seeing from previous bands featured in rock band games, i’m guessing steely dan, metallica, megadeth, and ratm.
Probably The Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson, but I would rather have Long Hard Road Out of Hell.

I would like Fight Song or the cover of Tainted Love by Manson. But its most likely going to be Beautiful People.
Meh… hoping for Rock the Casbah. I forgot how good the keyboards were.
B-52′s just tweeted. Song TBD like the others.
Though I suspect it might be “Rock Lobster” since they had a clue that John Lennon once said how important this band was to his late career. I read that the album/song he was referring to was “Rock Lobster”.
I’d be cool with that, but I think I’d actually prefer “Love Shack”.

Rock Lobster has pretty long Keyboard solos, so I bet this is the song.

Even still not existing… are they going to broadcast or has it been cancelled?
