all the norma jean songs being added is awesome!
Ain’t Life Grand was the last album by WSP I cared for. Too bad it’s a live track. I grabbed it and instantly regretted it after one play through.

How the hell could you say you like WSP but not like the fact that it’s a live track from them? I don’t care for WSP, live or studio, but they are one of those bands like The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Phish, etc where the true talent and feel of the song comes out in the live versions.
I picked up the song to support the genre as I did with Flickr. Also grabbed Pedal Down, not a difficult song by any means but from one of my favorite bands. More AOD please.

I honestly don’t think they were ever a good live band, even when Houser was still alive. I’m not sure when the live track is from or who the band members are on the track, but it doesn’t sound like Houser. Comparing them to the Allmans, Dead, and Phish is really stretching it IMO. Shit, comparing the Dead to Phish is a huge stretch. Just because a band improvises and changes set lists night to night doesn’t mean they sound similar.
I really liked the Ain’t Life Grand album, which is what I would have preferred with some WSP tracks. Keep it to studio tracks off Everyday, ALG, Space Wrangler, and the self title album.
I was a huge Phish fan back in the day (50+ shows) and would prefer to hear a lot of their studio stuff in RB over live stuff.
