The I Heard Through the Grapevine solo seriously has to be one of the longest in Rock Band!

According to a thread on the Rock Band forums, the 3rd solo from “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” is officially the longest, at 4:52. The previous champion was the 2nd solo from “Green Grass and High Tides” around 4:05.
That bassist is pretty awesome.

Seriously, I don’t play plastic instruments at all. Hope I wasn’t that bad.

…like Muse!
I was super-stoked for this pack, since we don’t generally get big packs of greatest hits and these are all classic songs. At the same time, I was a bit apprehensive about the drums, worrying they would all be too easy (remembering the cover we got earlier). Playing trough most of them, though has been a great relief – these are all fun and just challenging enough to be interesting.
Highly recommended.
Any PS3 peeps able to see this pack for download yet?

Yes. As of about 30 minutes ago.
The drums on most of these were good. I do think Grapevine is a must buy (and i’m not even a big fan of the band myself…)
There’s a bathroom on the right.
As a longtime CCR fine, I was thrilled to see these songs come to Rock Band. I played through the whole batch in one fell swoop today, and had a blast. I played guitar on Hard, and while it wasn’t super challenging by any stretch, the tunes themselves are so good that it was a great time. Sorta like a lot of the Beatles songs, the quality of the music made up for any lack of complexity in the gameplay. “Grapevine” is a knockout. It manages to be both laid back and epic at the same time. I’ll have to try out the other instruments real soon.
The ratings you’ve gave the songs are incorrect in some places, most noticeably on I hear it through the grapevine.

Oh crap… you’re right. I’ll fix now. Thanks, sir!
Played through all of them last time. Travelin’ Band was my favorite. Mimicking John Fogerty is pretty fun!
I also found the tambo on I heard it through the Grapevine difficult… thats a first.
Wow this is a great idea to post each week. I’m still loyal to corporalgregg3′s videos but if I ever can’t find them this would really rock to see each week.
