DLC for 7/6
We had that rumor of Creedence Clearwater Revival from earlier in the week thanks to Major Nelson, and now we have official confirmation of the DLC for next week. Take a look at the tracks in the DLC pack for next week:
- Bad Moon Rising
- Born on the Bayou
- Down on the Corner
- Fortunate Son (Original Version)
- Green River
- I Heard It Through the Grapevine (yes, the LONG version)
- Lookin’ Out My Back Door
- Proud Mary
- Run Through the Jungle
- Travelin’ Band
- Up Around the Bend
- Who’ll Stop the Rain
1600 MSP ($19.99) for the entire pack

Absolutely amazing track selections.
For me, this is like one of those dream packs that you can hardly believe is coming into existence.
Heard It Through The Grapevine… YES!!! Epic song and epic track listing… gotta love CCR
Insta-buy. My DLC “boycott” is over, haha. As I said, if something comes out that i really want, I will absolutely buy it.
I was trying to narrow my CCR want list yesterday, and I just couldn’t. I finally said screw it. They could have put almost anything and I’d be happy, but that list is stellar.
I wonder if that’s the longer “Heard it Through the Grapevine”…

Yes! Looks like we have a new song for RB3′s “Neverending Epic Songs” filter.
The “Clearance” in Major Nelson’s “Clearance Clearwater Revival” is that of wallets everywhere. Including mine.

That’s ok. This list shines with the intensity of a thousand suns!
Amazing track list. Can’t wait for Tuesday!
You should do a Twitter reaction to CCR from the same people who dissed Miley and Nickelback.

I’m doing a weekly post now called “Friday Follow-Up” where I’ll be highlighting what people are saying. Look for it this afternoon!
FINALLY! A DLC I am looking forward to! Such a killer track listing! I was hoping my wallet was doing the voting RE: all the recent terrible DLCs! I’ll put away the beer money just for CCR!

But beer will only enhance the expirence! Instant buy for me plus beer!
Epic. Really, truly, epic. Altho it’s a shame they’re coming out before RB3. Talk about songs I wouldn’t mind playing on Pro guitar mode.
It really doesn’t get very much better than this.
I really wish GH was getting this cuz I would so rock these with a detachable flame guitar.

Just buy the flame guitar, and play Rock Band with it. Easy. :p
The Dude approves.
robert like this. buying it all. we needed some ccr bad
Please also note that MrPope has confirmed in the DLC thread that “I Heard it through the Grapevine” is the full-length, 11-minute version as you have included on your list: http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3824745#post3824745

DAMMIT HARMONIX I LIKE HAVING MONEY
I was planning on exporting Green Day next week (have a party coming up, would be nice to have all of the GD in RB2), and then this PACK OF AMAZINGNESS comes out of nowhere.
Welp, there goes 30 bucks.
I haven’t bought any DLC for months… the DROUGHT IS OVER!!
Finally some DLC I can get excited about. Hope they keep this up to get people primed for RB3.
DLC is makin’ a comeback! Finally a week I’m excited about again.
Do wish Lodi was on the list though, but I’m certainly not complaining!
After listening to all of the tracks once, I have decided that I want to buy this pack, but, the Xbox Live-apalooza is also this week… What should I buy? CCR Pack 01 (1600 MSP) or The Best of the Who (800 MSP) + RHCP BSSM Full Album (800 MSP)?
