I know, I know, the GH series is not too popular here, but I have a few games and am therefore interested, so what do you think? Will the ION Drum Rocker Pro Premium work with those games? There are certainly enough pads and cymbals…

(I’m eager to substitute my Word Tour Drum Kit and hope to find one set that works both for RB3 (Pro) and GH.)

Yeah I didn’t think the existing Drum Rocker came with three cymbals, it looks like only two on the website and the Core comes with none.

So cool it comes with three now, but not sure how factual that one line is in your blog. “includes everything the original Drum Rocker included: four drum and three cymbal pads”

Still I officially shelve my attempts in the last two days to buy the Drum Rocker kit… >.>

I’ve had the ION kit for well over a year now, and the pedal is the one piece that I’ve never, ever had any trouble with. I’m a little disheartened to hear that that’s the main thing they’re changing, because firstly there’s nothing wrong with it all (in my experience at least!) but secondly, I think it’s the cymbals that need improvement. It’s great to hear that the Pro Kit will include all three, but they really can’t take a beating very well at all.

The only thing I would take with a grain of salt is the “super quiet” bit. My Ions are louuuuuud. Easily as loud (or louder) than my Beatles kit.
