Music from “The Guild” Coming to the RBN

For all of you fans of Felicia Day’s “The Guild” out there, looks you can now look forward to playing the song “(Do You Wanna Date My) Avatar” in Rock Band via the Rock Band Network soon. Never got into “The Guild” until recently on Netflix Watch Instantly, and it really didn’t do a lot for me, although I’ve never played World of Warcraft either, but I can definitely see how some people would be into it. After listening to it, I’m interested to play test this and find out how everything was charted. If you want to play test, you can go here to try it out.

Not familiar with it? Check out a video for the song below.

Saw this last night. Definitely going to give it some playtest time tonight.

I played WoW for a while and couldn’t get into the show. I simply didn’t find it funny. Glad to see the music make it to the RBN; the more the merrier. (The song itself is decently funny, though).

    I’ll be in my bunk.

I remember a Main Drag song from the season 2 finale, but I guess that’s probably already in the game.

Love During Wartime. My favorite song of theirs. It’s in the RBN.

The show doesn’t do it for me either. But many of my friends are huge fans so will be snapping this up when it gets to RBN.

You can only realy get this show if you play a MMO or know players IRL. Its a great show IMO and im looking foreward to playtesting this song ASAP.

They said “Guitars Suck” was coming as DLC but that hasn’t come yet either… last I checked anyway.
They say this is going to come out as DLC… will it really? We’ll see.

Guitars Suck is in playtesting. Songs aren’t going to come out the day after people announce them. Sometimes you just have to be patient.

Of course all RBN songs have the possibility that they will never be released.

Im one of the dudes working on Guitars Suck and i can say for a fact, we never said it was comming out 5 seconds after we announced it.

Its RBN were talking about here, not main DLC. It takes time, revisions, and a whole lotta playtesting to finish a RBN chart.

And if you were thinking that RBN songs come out just “like that” then you ether havent been paying attention, are new here, or have been smoking a whole lotta crack.

Well I know it takes a while… lol I just thought it’d come out in that week or by the end of this week so I got all anxious. >.< I just can't wait to get these though lol

Yeah, songs sometimes may take a LONG time to come out if they are announced early in the RBN process, like this one and Bumblefoot’s “Guitars Suck.” All songs in the RBN have to be play tested a certain number of times by the Creators community before being peer reviewed by the Creators community. This process can take as quickly as a few weeks if the song has no problems, or many months, depending upon factors such as authoring quality, Creators feedback, and peer review participation.

Both songs are currently available for play testing, and once completed and peer reviewed, you will be able to purchase on the RBN.
