“‘Splosion Man” Songs Coming to the RBN
‘Splosion Man was a sleeper hit, an excellent side-scrolling platform released on the Xbox Live Arcade in summer of 2009. The object of the game is relatively simple: your character can explode at will up to three times to propel himself across booby-trapped and pitfall invested levels. It sounds easy, but the action gets pretty difficult as you progress into the game.
The “‘Splosion Man Theme Song” had been up for play testing on the Rock Band Network earlier this year, however is gone at the moment. Not to fear, as SavyGamer talked to Twisted Pixel CEO Mike Wilford, who announced that two more tracks, “The ‘Splode Beneath My ‘Splosion” and “Donuts Song“, will be added to the RBN, bringing the promised total to three songs from the game.
(And I have no idea why, but “Donuts Song” reminds me of the “Big Yellow Joint” song from Arrested Development.)
