Rock Band 3… It’s Official
Just saw a tweet cross my screen from @deliciousbees, AKA Harmonix Senior Designer Dan Teasdale, who mentioned that Philippe Dauman, President and CEO of Viacom, has officially announced this morning at the Game Developers Conference that Rock Band 3 will be coming out Holiday 2010. No details yet on what to expect (maybe?), but I’ll update this post if there any any additional details from Mr. Dauman’s announcement.
Does that set everyone’s minds at ease a little more now?
UPDATE (I’m sure there will be more) 1: Confirmed via Rock Band’s Facebook page, Rock Band 3 will be distributed by EA.

All right! Now, let’s see if the Wii gets any useful features. Something like RBN, SDHC support (which TBRB has, so that’ll be in), and maybe the ability to buy track packs instead of individual tracks. The latter is unlikely, given Nintendo’s hesitance to offer duplicate material on its stores.
And also exportability. I want to see that in there.
Awesome news on Rb3! Makes sense to put it out near the holiday rush… But I want it NOW!

a buddy of me was going to buy rb2 because he likes the huge selection of dlc but now as he know that rockband 3 will come this holiday season he is thinking about waiting for rock band 3 – but he has one questions: Will there be the same dlc as in ROCK BAND 2?
