Not Sure What This Is Exactly…
So we’ve seen some pretty impressive videos in the past of people performing Rock Band vocals by playing real instruments into the microphone. There was the guy who FC’ed “I Get By” using a trombone first, followed by a girl who gold starred “Afterlife” using a flute.
Now we have a guy playing a theremin to the vocals of “Still Alive.” If you’re like me, you’ve never heard of a theremin, and to be honest, it still looks like the guy is humming. But I thought it was interesting enough to pass on to you, so check out the full video at the top if you haven’t already. Let me know what you think of his performance in the comments…

Awesome. The theramin is the instrument that plays the main melody of the Star Trek original series theme, by the by.
He’s def not humming, that’s all legit. He does some pretty sick stuff on the theremin and says he has played at some events and such.
I love theremins. They are amazing things. Read up on ‘em: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theremin
I own a toy one, and plan to trade up to a real one sometime in the near future.
