At this rate, Tom Petty will be copping it on the forums for too much DLC instead of the Foo Fighters…
Not saying they’re not worth it, just a bit too much too soon for my tastes.

Personally, I LOVE Tom Petty, but I’m not sure why they didn’t just release a disc from the live Anthology as DLC, instead of breaking it up, because I knew that it wouldn’t sit well with most people. I’m looking forward to the Phoenix tracks, too!

I’m the same way. I’m super excited about some great Petty choices here, but at the same time feel too many 02 packs have been coming out too soon after one another. I feel that we need 02 packs for earlier artists like QoTSA, the Police, or David Bowie. Seriously its been over 2 years since we’ve seen any DLC from any of these guys!
But I’m also glad to see this week wasn’t exclusively one artist and look forward to enjoying Phoenix and heck Silvertide sounds like fun as well! So all in all this would have been a much better week if we hadn’t just gotten Petty 2 months ago, but its still good.
