All Rock Band Network Content Being Delisted This Month

rock-band-network-640x283

Harmonix announced today in their DLC Re-Licensing forum thread that all legacy Rock Band Network content, from all three platforms (Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii) is going to be delisted later this month, marking the end of the user authored song service that originally launched as part of Rock Band 2 in 2010. As with all delistings, this will not prevent users who have previously purchased a song from re-downloading those tracks. It will only affect new purchases.

A date was not specified for the content to be removed from the store, so if there are any songs you haven’t purchased that you want to make sure you grab, you should do so immediately.

It was noted that this has no effect on any Rock Band 4 content, so the few songs that have been brought forward that were originally part of RBN on the previous generation consoles will still be available in Rock Band 4 as they are today.
