20 more songs, plus campaign details, revealed for Rock Band VR!

With Rock Band VR arriving in less than a month now, it’s not surprising that today we had a MASSIVE unveiling of songs. With 20 new songs revealed today for Rock Band VR, this brings the total number up to 41. That leaves us with just 19 songs left after this.

Here’s the full list of songs unveiled today:

  • Blondie – One Way or Another
  • Carrie Underwood – Church Bells
  • Catfish and the Bottlemen – Postpone
  • Coldplay – Birds
  • David Bowie – Suffragette City
  • Europe – The Final Countdown
  • Green Day – Holiday
  • Jimmy Eat World – The Middle
  • Maroon 5 – Maps
  • Mumford & Sons – I Will Wait
  • Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit
  • Parks – Sweater Weather
  • Pearl Jam – Alive
  • The Pretty Reckless – Heaven Knows
  • The Starting Line – Quitter
  • Stone Temple Pilots – Plush
  • Switchfoot – Float
  • The Temper Trap – Alive
  • Twin Atlantic – I Am Alive
  • The Wind and the Wave – Grand Canyon

That’s not all, however, as they also revealed today details on the campaign. Compared to most previous campaigns, this one is far more scripted and even includes voice acting!

In it, you’re a member of the band Autoblaster, along with your bandmates Derek, Maddy, and Wes. It sees your journey from playing small bars all the way to big theatres and all the stops in between, all presented as flashbacks which you can view by looking at keepsakes in the practice room. Throughout it, you’ll also have choices that will change the way you progress.

From the looks of it, this seems to be similar to the Rockudrama mode in Rivals but mixed with the RPG-like campaign that was originally announced for Rock Band 4. All of which seems very exciting.

The only things I want to know, are, will these sons be available in RB4 and if so when. Have no intention of getting a VR set as I suspect it will give me motion sickness unfortunately.
