DLC for 2/5: Blitz Singles – Part Three
Last week saw the release of new content from Aerosmith, so we know from a few weeks ago that means more singles from Rock Band Blitz are on the way, likely with at least one Pro upgrade…
- Avenged Sevenfold – So Far Away
- Great White – Once Bitten Twice Shy
- Iron Maiden – The Wicker Man *
- Queen – Death on Two Legs
Tracks marked with * indicate a Pro-Guitar/Bass chart available for $0.99 (160 MSP).

I haven’t been keeping track…anyone know offhand how many of the Blitz singles have been released at this point?

14, I think (including these ones that are coming next week).
I know 14 for sure. Might’ve been more that I missed.

So 3 more weeks…yay. Hopefully we’ll get quality stuff like the aerosmith in between.

I’m not sure there will be three weeks. One of the Blitz songs could be in between two singles weeks like the Rick Springfield pack was.

Nope. It has already been confirmed that we’re not getting anymore artist packs based around Blitz singles.
Dawwww… I was sure hoping (offhandedly, I know, the rumors didn’t support it, but I was being optimistic) that “So Far Away” would have a Pro-mode.

And I was really hoping we got Pro for Once Bitten Twice Shy. Oh well. Guess I’m saving $1.
Surprised they gave the Pro upgrade to the interesting song, rather then something predictable and easy like the Avenge Seven pop ballad thing.
Week after this is Valentine’s Day DLC which has been killer the last two years.
Nooooo! No, No, No, No, No!
I want a Collective Soul Pack.

Yeah, you and me both, buddy. I’d settle for a nice, easy 20-pack.

TWENTY pack? Yeah, they have a decent collection of songs, but TWENTY?
Off the top of my head, I can only thing of “Shine”, “Heavy”, “Run” (which would be boring as hell on Rock Band) “Why (Part 2)”, “Gel”, “December”, and “The World I Know”. What am I missing?

Honestly, I’d be satisfied with just “December” and “The World I Know.” I’m not a huge Collective Soul fan, but those three (including “Shine”) are some of my favorite 90′s songs.(from the latter half anyway)

Tell ya what, they just need to release a “Rock Band: 90′s”, and I”d be gold. There’s so many bands they’ve yet to touch that are great, yet put their music everywhere. Sister Hazel, Del Amitri, Tonic, CAKE, Fuel, freaking Gin Blossoms…
I’m sad none of those have been released yet…

I’m a huge CS fan. You’re spot-on with what you wrote, though I think “Run” would be fun for the singer. This leaves me with 13 more spots to fill: “Wasting Time”, “Bleed”, “Listen”, “Full Circle”, “Link”, “Giving”, “No More, No Less”, “Dandy Life”, “Generate”, “Compliment”, “Boast”, “Over Tokyo” and “Hollywood”. Maybe no one else would buy it, but I sure would!
YES! I have been waiting for this Maiden Track and the Great White one as well!
