Features I’m HOPING to see in Rock Band app
Not sure if I’m going to even get my list done before the official announcement is made (if rumors are made to be true, that is), but I thought I would pull together a quick wish list of what I would love to see.
- Premium content (confirmed already here)
- 4-player multiplayer through Bluetooth (confirmed already here)
- Ability to pull Rock Band scores from the official online leaderboards
- Locate Rock Band Bar Night events near you based on location
- Purchase and queue Rock Band DLC for your console
- Ability to read and post on the RockBand.com forums
- Ability to push DLC announcements to your phone (hey, it’s a wish list!)

I can see it all happening with the exception of adding DLC to your console through the app. That would have to have Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo on board.
I really like the idea of push notifications for the Friday DLC announcements. That would effin rule.
If we don’t hear a lot about it today, the HMX Podcast debuts tomorrow. Maybe Sean will give us some love on there.
