AES!
Man. Too bad the censorship absolutely kills that Guild song. Really? Can’t say “asshat” now? We have songs with “bitch”, “goddamn”, and even “cock block”, but you can’t say “asshat”??
So dumb.

1. I believe RBN has different censorship standards than RB DLC.
2. It also depends on whether an unedited or edited version was given to the author.
3. With all due respect, if a word being edited (I’m guessing it’s in the chorus) “kills” a song, the song might not have been that great to begin with.

Censoring can kill a song, without the song necessarily being bad.
Rock Band censoring in particular, because generally the word is just removed. If it’s in the middle of a line, it sounds incredibly awkward to just have a pause randomly in the middle of the line.
It can make even the greatest song sound incredibly awkward, especially in the chorus, where it repeats a few times (which like you guessed, is the case here). If it’s at the end of a single line in the song, it’s not so bad.

It was by Harmonix request that the censoring happened. We were pretty surprised and disappointed too. =(
SWEET MORE ENDLESS SPORADIC
