DLC Playthrough for 6/12 (Incubus)
Arriving in the Rock Band library today is just the single track from alternative rockers Incubus. Included below is a playthrough video of the DLC from the always awesome thenewnoelisoncruz. Definitely check out and subscribe to his YouTube channel!

Maybe check that last line and remove the plural parts of ‘songs’ and ‘ tracks’.
Can hardly blame you for that. Templates are useful and one-song weeks are extremely rare.
Lots of G-O chords? Check! Lots of triple chords? Check! Everything I am *not* looking for in a guitar chart? Check! Oh wait, guitar solo! Now things should get interesting. Never mind, it is dull and sparse.
Too bad. I rather like this song, but not the type of guitar chart I enjoy. Others may feel differently.
When I started to lament the one song week last Friday (before I found out about the licensing snafu), my friend said “looks like you’ll just have to play one of your other 1000 songs”.
Quite right.
I try not to let my dislike of a band/song color my review, so here goes-
Drums are pretty much a simple straight beat the entire way, with a handful of fills- not particularly interesting. Bass has a bit of movement and a lot of HOPO’s, making it entertaining for the first few times through the pattern, but it drags on long enough to become very repetitive.
Not really for me. Vocals seem to be probably the most entertaining part this week.
A shame that strange solo towards the end didn’t end up on any chart. This is the first DLC I played on all instruments the first day, so that was fun.
Hmmm… Just remembered that tweet that originally suggested Incubus 01 would be a 5-song pack, then it was actually a 3-pack. Plus this song, that’s four of the five… Could the other one be on the Blitz set list?
Well, we’ll get triple the songs or more next week right,? So yeah, glass half full and all.

Yeah, three songs (or more) sounds likely.
No Pro mode for this one? That sort of helps, as I currently have 230 Microsoft pennies and would have been short by 10. I really like Make Yourself, so would love to see any other tracks from that appear. Stellar especially, as it’s been a while since the Guitar Hero version.

Agreed. Anna Molly would also be nice (pro upgrade or not).
got the song was really disappointed with the drums, pretty boring, but at least we get more than one song next week.
