Pretty nice contest, just not sure it’s worth $12 to me to take a chance (especially since I likely have about zero chance of winning).
How many 5 lane guitar players are any competent at real guitar to get anything out of a guitar lesson? Let alone own a real guitar to follow along. But the other swag is definitely cool.
To bad I’m on PS3.

eh, if it isn’t the country, its the platform. everyone always has something to complain about. I don’t see why people bother giving away free stuff, there’s always people who have nothing better to do than complain.

If you are European PS3 player, you never get to enter any competions.. If you are US Xbox360 player you get to enter every one of them. So it’s ok to complain.

I wish that these types of contests were not always highest score contests because I think it really limits both who will win and who will even enter. While the high score should obviously get the grand prize, they should give out some minor prizes to people picked at random from those who entered the Battle. This will get a lot more people to enter since everybody has a chance to win something. And more people entering means more people buying Graveyard BBQ songs on RBN, which I assume is the goal of the contest.

That’s a very good point, Rick! I discussed it with Brownbag, and we’re throwing in a 960MSP prize package to 5 random winners from the leaderboard. I’ll ask Tommy to update the post.
