6400 MSP in Prizes for Playing New RBN Track “Foundation”

Going on now until July 14th, you have a chance to win one of FOUR 1600 MSP prizes through the Rock Band Network and DLCQuickplay.
Arriving last week on the RBN was the song Foundation, from new RBN artist an Unkindness. If you pick up this modestly priced (80MSP) track, and upload a video response to the video below of yourself doing something cool while playing the track, you have a chance to win 1600 MSP! You have until July 14th, when Adam from an Unkindness will pick the four most interesting videos and award the points.
And if you like what you hear, this song and 3 others are available as a free download at http://anunkindness.com/

Great!, i know Rock Band Network is amazing and all that but it’s not available here still in the netherlands!(even though i can make an UK account to be able to get songs).
But really amazing contest!

I’m curious, were you still able to get RBN content before the download links came back?

I had not even noticed that on rbnreleases.com
And I can answer that: No. Accounts form uneligible regions could never get RBN songs.

I’m aware, but accounts from eligible regions could get RBN songs. Unless perhaps you were playing with an eligible account on a game disc from an ineligible region, which is what I’m asking. Without the Xbox.com download links it seems like the in-game store might just kick them out.

I doubt that’s even possible. For example, my eligible account is a UK account, which is in a PAL area. Most countries that use PAL discs are ineligible, but as far as I know, all the discs are identical.
The Xbox.com download links don’t change anything. When they were visible (when RBN first launched), ‘offers expired/were invalid for the region’ and it was not possible to get into the RBN store in Rock Band 2. In Rock Band 3, the song names are visible, but no cover art loads and upon selecting, ‘the song is temporarily unavailable’.
We always get UK versions of games that aren’t translated to Dutch are, here in the Netherlands.
Maybe I didn’t understand your question.
Hmmm. I have an idea for this…
I wish i could think of something for this cause i could really use the points

No one’s entered yet so perhaps you don’t even need to have a good idea.
