Rock Band Coming to a Phone Near You

Looks like EA is bringing our favorite video game franchise to mobile platforms real soon… but not so fast, iPhone owners, this one’s not for you (yet… see here). Announced via EA’s Facebook page of all places, Rock Band Mobile will be launching on Verizon on September 16th, and will offer “25 legendary songs from great bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Beastie Boys in high-quality MP3 sound.” Somehow, the mobile version will feature guitar, bass, drums, and even vocals… all supposedly touchscreen based.

According to Kotaku, this looks to be the track listing:

Eh, it’s not strange to see Foo Fighters with two songs… but 30 Seconds to Mars with the ONLY two songs they have available? Don’t get me wrong, I love them… but it is quite strange…
