Alright!!!… by Darius Rucker xD
Odd, the trailer is showing the songs being played in the RB2 engine. You can tell by the score multipliers being at a slight “angle”, along with what are very clearly programmed HOPOs for guitar, something not possible in the RB1 engine. I won’t be getting the game until tomorrow, but can anyone confirm whether the game runs of the RB1 or RB2 engine?

I remember a HMX representative saying it was RB1, just like all the other track packs, but I’m not sure. It sure looks like RB2.

It is the RB1 engine, but since the songs can be exported, you can essentially play these tracks in any of the core franchise titles.

I knew they’d said it would be RB1 engine, guess I was just hoping they’d changed their mind. It’s a tad mis-leading having the trailer for the game show the songs being played in a different engine, but whatever, I won’t be spending much time playing the disk itself; go for some trophies, then export and shelf the game.
I can’t wait to play this! Thanks Rockbandaide!
Definitely looking forward to this. Very upset that I didn’t win one of the copies (guess I need to do a better job of bribing)…
This doesn’t seem to be releasing in the UK – or at least, it’s not on Amazon, nor Play, nor HMV.
Does anyone know whether I can buy a copy from America, and use the code to download the tracks? Or will that cause problems somehow?
Will be grabbing this at lunch today. Looking forward to playing it as is (aka not RB3.. just not my game).
Well here’s my question, since this is (i believe) the first track pack to be released since RB3 has come out… once you decide to import (or dl) the tracks, will it have keys and expert guitar/bass support?

it’s got harmonies and pro drums.. nothing else
Did the export almost immediately, and had a chance to play a few of the songs. Some good stuff in here. Not as chock full of awesome as the previous pack…but it whets my appetite for some twang.
Now to wait for the Going Country 4 pack to go on sale.
I liked some of the songs… others on drums are awful (ring of fire, twang)
On guitar most are good or excellent.
Bass surprised me on some too!
Didn’t do vocals.
The songs are better exported.. i hated the RB1 engine and cali system.
