Fallout 3 Homage in RBN Single “Vault 101″
I saw this song come through last week on the RBN post, and assumed it had to have been something related to Fallout 3, but my urge to open Christmas presents with the family won out and I never followed up. A post over at Joystiq today reminded me that this was indeed a case of chocolate-in-my-peanut-butter in that the song “Vault 101” by Kirby Krackle was an homage to one of my favorite post-apocalyptic RPGs, Fallout 3. I recently picked up the “sequel” to Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and if you’ve been stalking me on Xbox 360, you can see that I have been addicted to it (only ONE more achievement to go and I’ll have them all)!

Their other song on RBN is about Green Lantern btw
I’m not buying any more RBN stuff until RBN 2.0 with keys comes out.

I wanted to take that stance but then Freezepop released a new song on RBN & broke my will.

I have been a Kirby Krackle fan for about 2 years now. First saw them at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle in 2009. I’m stoked that they are putting more stuff on RBN, hope that some songs like Up, Up, Down, Down and Zombie Apocalypse are coming soon.
Not my thing… looking forward to the Super Meat Boy songs though. I have just finished the game (light world only) and it was really fun, if frustrating. Loved the soundtrack.
Bought this song immediately. Loved Fallout 3 and any song that rhymes “Vault 101″ with “Megaton” is cool with me. It is not a difficult song, but it is fun and rocks harder than most of the official DLC that has come out in the last few months.
