Green Day: Rock Band Holiday Giveaway
OK, we’ve been doing giveaways frequently in the past (including TEN Billy Joel DLC codes just yesterday), and we normally have you give your favorite song from the band or on-disc track relating to the giveaway. I think we’re going to change it up a little bit. We have one copy of Green Day: Rock Band for the Xbox 360. The game came out on June 8th, and it is now December 17th; over six months later. If you enter the contest, then you obviously don’t have the game.
To enter, you have to write below in the comments the reason why you never bought the game. We’ll look through all the submissions and after 10PM Central tonight, we’ll choose a winner and contact you for your address. Please try and get back to us by tomorrow morning, so we can hopefully get you your prize prior to Christmas. And since we will be shipping it out at our expense, we’re keeping it to US entries only.
Just like the Billy Joel DLC giveaway, same rule applies. Please, only enter ONCE per HOUSEHOLD. When you have giveaways, you can make up the rules, and beggars can’t be choosers. For the Billy Joel giveaway, I deleted a lot of entries because people entered twice. Sorry, but you gotta follow the rules.

I didn’t buy it because I rented it from Blockbuster, made some videos and then had to return it.
I just never did pretty much. its funny, because I have been REALLY thinking of getting this game the last few days. I think I was in the “I dont like green day” phase cause everyone always seems to be, but I have been listening to some of there older stuff and American Idiot and it is VERY fun to listen to. also, everything would be fun to play, because they are overall talented musicians and will have fun note charts. hope I win! otherwise I will have to buy it next week
I didn’t buy because I knew I’d only have enough money for ONE Rock Band game this year. That game was, or course, Rock Band 3. I no has Green Day >_<
I never bought it because I’ve been upgrading everything from my PS2 for the last 6 months – it’s proving to be expensive, as all the DLC RB has to offer is sapping my money far too easily!
I originally downloaded the demo for this game and really enjoyed it, but I just haven’t had the spare cash to buy it. I’ve been waiting for a price drop to $20 or so and it seems like it’ll inevitably happen, but winning a copy would be swell too.
I never bought the game because my wife has been on my case not to spend too much money on video games and with a cross-country move that included abandoning my job, I couldn’t argue much. I love Rock Band, but if it comes down, as it did, to either waiting for Rock Band 3 or getting Green Day, the choice for 3 was obvious.

I didn’t buy it because I wasn’t interested in Green Day until I saw the musical American Idiot.
I didn’t buy it because money’s been tight since the birth of my son and it was either buy Greenday or save up for RB3. RB3 won out, but I’m certainly interested in RBGD.
My friends wanted me to play Rock Band on Xbox so i could jam with them so i sold Rock Band 1 and 2 for Rock Band 3 and i am currently trying to get some more tunes that i can am with my friends.

as a poor college student, the glut of good games this year has been unbearable. Even though I love Mike Dirnt’s bass skills I had to pass it up.
I can’t justify paying so much money for forty some Green Day songs.
I didnt buy it because it was really too much money at the moment. Now i am interested in them because I have begun real guitar and have learned to play their songs. I also plan on getting a Full Game FC (FGFC) of Bass of this game, which would help my quest to get a FSFC (so far im missing visions only, beatles, and this game)
I actually had no idea that there was a dedicated Green Day rock band game. I knew about the Beatles one of course. That’s a nice set of songs though! What other band specific RB games have I been missing?!
I didn’t buy it because well, I didn’t want to. Free is always good though!
I didn’t buy it because I honestly was too lazy too. I played it over at a friend’s house one afternoon and we ended up playing through the entire game in one sitting, even got the “Won’t make it for dinner” achievement. Yet after that I was still too lazy to go out and get it. You can help me with this problem.
Didn’t buy it because I’m not a huge fan of Green Day, in fact this is the only Rock Band/Guitar Hero game I don’t own. It would be nice to have it, but it was not worth it when it came out.
