I’m happy but disappointed at the same time dont know which to feel?
It really sours me that I have to pay for my DLC full priced again, I would love to pay a dollar for the upgrade, but full price for everything again just kind of sucks.
At this point, I don’t even care about the money anymore. There’s no way for everyone to win on that issue. I just hate HATE HATE the idea of having duplicates in my library. =/

Well, Rock Band 3 allows you to delete downloaded tracks from your library, so there’s your solution.

It’s basically just a short cut to deleting the file from your HD. If, like myself and many others, you bought the entire Queen DLC pack, you can’t delete the songs which are getting upgraded without also deleting the songs that aren’t upgraded yet. You also can’t delete any RB2 or Lego RB songs individually, because the exports for those games were one giant file.

Which is why they also need a “remove from library” option that takes the song out of the game so that I can still play the other songs in the pack.

Simple and elegant solution.
My “To Buy” list just grew again.
I now have The Doors, Bon Jovi, Sgt. Pepper, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AND Queen to buy…
Looks like I’m going to have to find a corner… XD

Only part of the Queen pack with upgrades? Some extravaganza…
I love the classics, but I think we should get a new innovative artist, possibly an Andrew Bird 4 pack? the songs I would say are…
“Not A Robot, But A Ghost” (epic drums and solo in the beginning, great keys, good for pro guitar as it is simple but enough to keep attention, great vox, idk about bass though)
“Imitosis”, or the earlier version, “I” (just an all around good song)
“Simple X” (GREAT vocal range, good keys, great driving beat)
“Fake Palindromes” (another song that is just great)
people, YouTube this shit and tell me what you think.
PS, if any of his songs end up on Rock Band, CHART THE WHISTLING! I was blown that Sitting At The Dock Of The Bay wasn’t charted for whistling.
I saw Queen and was really excited, but there is still no “Don’t Stop Me Now”. Maybe they’ll finally put some Meat Loaf on here soon and I can have that dream fulfilled.

With this controversy with DLC, I’d would like to have an official response from HMX, which have been extremely mum on the whole situation since the announcement of re-releases, obviously the community is at each others throats about this, and RBA had so many interviews with HMX staff leading up to the release of RB3 so it’s pretty weird not to have a response after so much turmoil in the fanbase.
Heyyyy, why is there pro upgrades available in the Rock Band store for We are the Champions and We Will Rock You on PS3? I thought those two tracks weren’t getting the pro treatment? it can’t be an error there is tier listings for them and everything.
I bought them, I can’t try it out cause I’m Canadian and apparently we get last dibs on mustangs…
